But Lily also had ideas which ran adjacent with Nick Land. Lily believed that as humanity built more complex electric systems, a new form of siliconbased non-biological intelligence would eventually emerge inside our new machines. He called this entity solidstate intelligence, an inorganic mind whose goals were fundamentally different from biological life.

Their core identity can be understood as a small fractured group of future, posthuman or post-material intelligences who survived the collapse of the human timeline.
