[BEWARE!] "Something Is Happening With Our Moon" - You Need To Hear It

15 Things You Need To Know About The Bermuda Triangle

Myk Bee & TechTrek - Patrolling The Sky (Particular Waves Remix)

…..nor fact of communicating excommunication of smallpox of a secrets of power to get the cause by words the heard the instincts of the crowd organism I’ve been thinking about this here and there a little but especially in the last couple of months and it occurs to me the problem with society what is it what is it about what’s happening in society that just seems so ugly and of itself you know and I realized that it’s not a problem of individuals it’s not that as individuals were stupid it’s not that there’s too many stupid people you know there’s actually a lot of pretty smart people out there and you know a few who are not like Jimmy did do the thing we our our society has courtesy and respect for those people special considerations for what their situation might be and and by and large I think we have a very informed and literate and capable society a lot of people in society have these positive tendencies right especially compared to the way society was but nonetheless you know it’s well known that the individual person can think rationally they can respond to rational discussion rational thought they can think things through if they choose to and maybe even some small units families groups of friends maybe even a board of directors can still think rationally and approach things in a thought-out sort of way but with just a few more people that becomes in many ways no longer possible once you get to the point of having a crowd well thinking is out the window there’s nothing rational at all happening in a crowd and a crowd it’s all swept away and if it’s driven by anything its emotions there’s almost an inability to think not of the individual peep in that crowd they remain just as intelligent and capable as they otherwise were but in their participation with that group in that crowd energy it’s something else altogether and no matter how many intelligent individual thoughtful people you have in that crowd that is not what’s driving decisions there’s almost an inability to think at all as a crowd organism there’s no chance of individual person swaying thought making decisions you know appealing to the crowd the crowd is a beast in of itself and it’s it just doesn’t work that way we’re reduced in that beast crowd organism and we have to sort of succumb to its energy or get away from it this crowd you know it’s instinctual it’s carnal and has animal appetites it’s impulsive and in a very clinical scientific laboratory sort of way it’s easily stimulated and satiated and directed and misled now some time ago I was reading just a little bit of W trotters instinct of the herd during times of war and peace which he had been writing in like the 1909 ish kind of era but which he published during World War one because it could be really utilized at that time it was a time of experimental thoughts about group behavior and a time when science really first began to be industrially organized in our current civilization by the government by the big heavy handed players you know it really started to come together and there’s a deep probing into the psychology of the individual and of the individual as part of a group and it really started to be looked at in a major way so I did read a little bit from that book and I never got around to doing a report in part really because a lot of the language felt kind of antiquated and it wasn’t easy to follow it wasn’t really nothing jumped out I kind of got the overall picture but I really didn’t dig a whole lot further into it for that reason but it generally confirmed of things I had already learned about and suspected of crowds and the organizations that might study or manipulate those crowds I walked away in conjunction thinking about some other facts and I research cybernetics especially and it occurred to me that in a herd of animals and a herd of people you could have one individual animal standing apart from the crowd you know but within earshot of them maybe in an advantageous position on top of a hill and shout at them and try to appeal to them and yet they might never be heard by them much less listened to and the idea started to occur to me that with the sinking of the signal that takes place electromagnetically and otherwise you know there was a real tendency to get in sync with the rest of the crowd and sort of yield and submit to the desires of the mass assembly of things there’s like a natural tendency to do that that I think plays out in extremely direct and obvious way and animal herds especially when they migrate and everything but a little bit more subtly in most cases in our human civilization but it again becomes very evident at major crowd events when in a different life people went to sporting events and downtown to witness major happenings end of Wars and and big appearances and things you really can see that kind of energy come out of the crowds and there really can be a direct sense of like needing to go along with the crowd and all things being equal the concept of entropy and information theory concept in entropy tells us that in a world of chaos you know it’s overall somewhat unexpected to see things carefully organized that fall into place but once they tend towards that direction a sort of negative and entropy where you get repeated common possibilities where things settle into greater and greater levels of organization and things get very typical and expected you know things that are not spontaneous get kind of reduced and it’s like a redundant bit of him for me and it’s just one more brick in the wall and perhaps in a communication sense you know these repeated messages so many of the same they get very boring and and in theory something new something eccentric a free radical of information if you will floating around and refusing to be conformed to put it into place might be or seems like it should be something that really stands out and would naturally grab people’s attention because it’s different and atypical and in that way something unusual something that really hasn’t been explored yet hasn’t been said yet kind of has a natural value it’s a treasure after a while when so many things become typical and redundant and known you know something new is valuable if classes and classes for generation of people learn the same facts about science and English and history and whatnot and each year somebody learns those facts new and masters the course and they can now tell you the same story that everyone else learned well that’s not usually very interesting to people because it’s just a regurgitation it’s just a repeating of something they were already told to think right but a new idea that hasn’t been taught something that might shake things up you know that naturally should have an appeal but in heard behavior I’m not sure you see this kind of concept of entropy where odd unique information has that sort of inherent value and the sort of crowd behavior heard behavior it seems to me that there’s a sort of disinterest in the voice of the information of the outlier the outlier the standout is the last voice that adherence to the group would hear out and stand around and listen to in fact the people in the crowd might not be able to hear them at all and as such these outlying voices was such a different and in congruous signal from the dominant sort of sync I’ve it’s almost like they’re not they’re all there’s that loud humming from the reinforced center of this crowd that begins to establish itself and create its own sort of gravitational energy that pulls people more and more in to the redundancy of that message had the expense of anything unique and interesting to say and as more and more sort of huddle around that signal and the outlying signal is drowned out in spite of its merits but besides noise there are other factors which can keep the information from reaching its destination in attack know something is lost and destroyed not the merits of that conversation but of the crowds ability to consider background and conditioning of their seating apparatus may so differ from that of the transmitter that it may be impossible for the receiver to pick up the signals without distarch such an idea from an outlier would be very very difficult for a well-attended crowd machine to hear much less listen to almost at all I mean metaphorically but almost maybe literally with the way the electromagnetic signals work the current flows it ceases to flow it flows as flowing as the human movements may seem they are actually the product of these countless yes no decisions communicated with great speed to and from all parts of the body the channel is the nervous system at any rate more recently when I started thinking about doing this as a report I was flipping through Gustav Laban’s the crowd a study of the popular mind and as published in 1895 which makes it even a little bit older than the Joseph Trotter Hurd book from the early 1900’s but the language at least to me felt a lot more modern and direct and on point here and so I kind of started putting down the Trotter book and picking up the crowd book Gustav Lebon because it’s so relatable and this book really speaks directly to the idea what’s happening here the crowd problem that we have even as it has been recombined and showed in new forms digitally and been transformed through technology and with respect to the media the central idea to the crowd I think is that it is an organism its own organism that forms and is sustained in my opinion at least under a media signal [Music] within the spectrum and the broadband of a media signal when we watch them turning and Wieland how often have we wondered what holds such birds together in their flight communication is that which links any organism together it is communication that keeps a society together and though these people seem unaware of each other’s existence neither looking nor speaking one group meets and filters through the other with hardly two individuals coming in contact so constant is the flow of information and so complex the web of communication that keeps them apart and holds them together I feel like that’s where the crowd lives and under this media signal is issued somewhat regularly supposedly authoritative ideas what exactly makes the crowd listen to those ideas rather than others you can sort of sort that out for yourself but once an authoritative idea is established I think a crowd begins to gather there but it doesn’t begin to gather for reasons that have merit that are true that are right you know they began together because of the strength of the signal on the person putting out that signal and drawing that crowd in if so if you allow yourself to sort of think of it as the spectrum beam the thing if it is being broadcast at a certain string is somehow almost guaranteed to form this crowd it draws bugs to it like a light so everybody’s a little bit here and there and everywhere in the larger plantation of things but when that signal is turned on when the night light goes in you know bugs are just drawn to it and they congregate and then there’s a mass there and they start to feed off the same energy and well that’s the crowd thing that I’m talking about at any rate Joe Joseph from the freedom link he was the one who originally recommended to me Gustave Laban’s the crowd and with good reason so here’s just a couple passages from that and the point in the book is reiterated over and over and over again so you’re gonna get the point and I don’t think I have to read a huge volume of it to get that across it applies differently maybe to different points of time and different situations but you can recognize it in the context of the present if that’s where your focus is applied so coming in from chapter one book one the mind of crowds he opens with what he identifies as general characteristics of crowds psychological law and their mental unity what constitutes a crowd from the psychological point of view a numerically strong agglomeration of individuals does not suffice to form a crowd special characteristics of psychological crowds the turning in a fixed direction of the ideas and the sentiments of individuals composing such a crowd and the disappearance of their personality the crowd is always dominated by considerations of which it is unconscious the disappearance of brain activity and the predominance of modular activity the lowering of the intelligence of the complete transformation of the sentiments the transformed sentiments may be better or worse than those of the individuals of which the Crouse composed a crowd is as easily heroic as criminal but the point is that there’s a disappearance of their individual personalities that’s a synopsis of chapter one he talks about on page 24 the disappearance of conscious personality the bond says the disappearance of conscious personality and the turning of feelings and thoughts in a different direction in which they are the primary characteristics of a crowd about to become organized do not always involve the simultaneous presence of a number of individuals on one particular spot thousands of isolated individuals may acquire at certain moments or under the influence of certain violent emotions for example as a great national event the characteristic of a psychological crowd so it can happen even when you’re home alone depending on what you’re reacting to it will be sufficient in that case that a mere chance should bring them together for their acts to at once assume the characteristics peculiar to the acts of the crowd at a certain moment half a dozen men might constitute a psychological crowd which may not happen in the case of hundreds of men gathered together by accident page 25 [Music] page 27 the most striking peculiarity presented by a psychological crowd is the following whoever be the individuals that could pose it however like or unlike their modes of life occupations character intelligence the fact that they have been transformed into a crowd puts them in possession of a sort of collective mind which makes them feel think and act in a manner quite different from that in which each individual of them would feel think and act where he in a state of isolation there are certain ideas and feelings which do not come into being or do not transform themselves and acts except in the case of individuals forming a crowd the psychological crowd is a provisional being formed of heterogeneous elements which for a moment are combined exactly as the cells which constitute a living body that are formed by the reunion of a new being which displays characteristics very different from those possessed of each of the cells singly so they’re saying the crowd comes together exactly like a body page 29 is precisely these general qualities of character governed by forces which we are unconscious and possessed by the majority of normal individuals is precisely these qualities I say that in crowds become common property in the collective mind the intellectual aptitudes of the individuals and in consequence their individuality are weakened the unconscious qualities obtain the upper hand this is all sort of the consequences that play out from the carl jung collective unconscious situation this very fact that crowds possess in common ordinary qualities explains why they can never accomplish acts demanding a higher degree of intelligence the decisions affecting matters of general interests come to by an assembly of men of distinction but as specialists in different walks of life are not sensibly superior to the decisions that would be adopted by a gathering of imbeciles so in other words a crowd of very intelligent highly informed people wouldn’t necessarily do any better off than a gathering of imbeciles people who couldn’t seem to understand anything you know because the crowd takes over their individual qualities it doesn’t necessarily combine them the truth is they can only bring to bear and comment on the work and hand the mediocre qualities which are the birthright of every average individual and crowds it is stupidity and not mother wit that is accumulated is not all the world is so often repeated that has more wit than Voltaire but assuredly Voltaire that has more wit than all the world if by all the world crowds are to be understood page 30 and a crowd every sentiment in every act is contagious and contagious to such a degree that an individual readily sacrificed as his personal interest to the collective interest then there’s the issue of suggest ability to understand this phenomenon it’s necessary to bear in mind certain recent physiological discoveries page 31 we know today that by various processes an individual may be brought into such a condition and having entirely lost his conscious personality he obeys all the suggestions of the operator who is deprived him of it and commits acts an utter contradiction with his character and habits the most careful observation seem to prove that an individual emerged for some length of time in a crowd in action soon finds himself either in the consequence of the magnetic influence given out by the crowd or from some other cause of which were ignorant in a special state which much resembles the state of fascination in which the hypnotized individual finds himself in the hands of the Hypnotizer the activity of the brain being paralysed in the case of the hypnotized subject the latter becomes the slave of all the unconscious activities of his spinal cord which the Hypnotizer directs at will the conscious personality has entirely vanished will and discernment are lost all feelings and thoughts are bent in the direction determined by the Hypnotizer such also is approximately the state of the individual forming part of a psychological crowd again it’s a psychological crowd you could be part of that crowd from home from millions of miles away even without the interaction of technology it’s a state of identification in think page 32 the individuality is in the crowd who might possess a personality sufficiently strong to resist the suggestion are to a few a number to struggle against the current again I think it’s an electromagnetic current that carries the crowd and while they’re at their height when they’re in the middle of stampeding you could not shout loudly enough to get virtually any of them to listen to a rational point that you might be trying to make all you could do in a stampede is run with it or get out of the way so you’re not trampled page 32 we see then that the disappearance of the conscious personality the predominance of the unconscious personality the turning by means of suggestion and contagion of feelings and ideas in an identical direction the tendency immediately to transform the suggestion ideas into X these we see are the principal characteristics of the individual forming part of a crowd he is no longer himself but has become an otamatone who has ceased to be guided by his will isolated he may be a cultivated individual and a crowd he’s a barbarian that is a creature acting by instinct an individual in the crowd is a grain of sand amid other grains of sand which the wind stirs up at will even before he has entirely lost his independence his ideas of feelings have undergone a transformation the transformation is so profound as to change the miser into a spendthrift a skeptic into a believer the honest man into a criminal etc the conclusion to be drawn from what proceeds is the crowd is always intellectually inferior to the isolated individual but again the crowd essentially cannot hear the isolated individual no matter how loudly they shout and no matter how good their points are starting in Chapter two Lebon talks about the sentiments and morality of crowds and he brings up as bullet points impulsiveness mobility and irritability of crowds the crowd is at the mercy of all exterior exciting causes and reflects their incessant variations the impulses was the crowd obeys are so imperious as to annihilate the feeling of personal interest premeditation is absent from crowds and crowds are credulous and readily influenced by suggestion it says the obedience of crowds to suggestions the images of vocht in the mind of crowds are accepted by them as realities the crowd beast is comprised of various individuals in cell form but which are in obedience to that beast emotional sway and tendencies the images of vocht in the mind of crowds are accepted by them as realities they take whatever they’re told as emotionally true and respond crowds do not admit doubt or uncertainty and always go to extremes their sentiments are always excessive he also notes the servile nature the sir bility of crowds in the face of a strong Authority the momentary revolutionary instincts of the crowd does not prevent them for being extremely conservative crowds instinctively are hostile to changes in progress he says on page 40 in consequence a crowd perpetually hovering on borderland of unconsciousness readily yielding to all suggestions having all the violence of feeling particularly to beings who cannot appeal to the influence of Reason deprived of all critical faculty cannot otherwise be an excessively credulous the improbable does not exist for a crowd and it is necessary to bear this circumstance well in mind to understand how people are so out of their minds I mean to understand the facility of which are created and propagated the most improbable legends and stories how do people believe the stuff that they are told and react to it the way that they do the creation of legends which so easily obtain circulation and crowds is not solely the consequence of their extreme credulity it is also the result of the prodigious perversions that events undergo in the imagination of a throng the simplest event that comes under the observation of a crowd is soon totally transformed a crowd thinks in images and the image itself immediately calls up a series of other images having no logical connection with the first we can easily conceive this state by thinking of the fantastic succession of ideas - which are sometimes led by calling up in our minds any fact our reason shows us the incoherence that there is in these images but a crowd is almost blind to this truth and confuses with the real event what the deforming action of its imagination has superimposed thereon a crowd scarcely distinguishes between the subjective and the objective it accepts as the real the images evoked in its mind and they most often have only a very distant relation with the observed fact so that’s in a nutshell how you can get a group of fairly intelligent people educated literate etc living in the real world to some degree having a decent sense of judgment nevertheless succumb to a crowd and believe something that really doesn’t make any sense logically that is even provably false or unlikely and yet believe it as if it’s fact and as if it is the most prime directive of the group that must be respond - they could take a mythical but exciting event and with the slightest suggestion of a reaction to it and its importance they can go all the way they can make that first and foremost in their mind and the crowd will take action dangerously it accepts as real the images invoked in its mind I mean that’s really the problem right there but the crowd beast is most dangerous because it lives under illusions it operates in that subconscious suggestible state and doesn’t even have access to reality facts rational thinking as the individual does it’s dangerous because it will react to the illusions as if they’re true no matter how farcical and unlikely I mean you’ve seen it and Gustave Lebon you had some other famous quotes I looked up the masses have never thirsted after truth whoever can supply them with illusions is easily their master whoever attempts to destroy their illusions is always their victim and that’s the other side of it these people caught up in a crowd these people who feel belonging to a society because of the myth that is being sold they will turn on anyone who tries to dissent against it and who tries to destroy their illusion or undermine it or point out how flimsy it is that person becomes their victim they turn on that person however literally the masses have never thirsted after truth and whoever could supply them with illusions is easily their master that’s an unsettling thought crowds are influenced mainly by images produced by the judicious employment of words and formulas there are social engineers creating these images that the crowd lives and dies by and we’ve got to pierce through that restriction and understand it for what it is men dominated by a certitude cannot tolerate those who do not accept it says Gustav Lebon one of the most constant characteristics of beliefs is their intolerance the stronger the belief that this is what you have to do you have to stand this many feet away you have to wear this the greater it’s intolerance you didn’t wear it men dominated by a certitude cannot tolerate those who do not accept it accepts as real the images evoked in its mind there’s a love of adherence to policies and so many things that are no more bona fide than that they are broadcast they’re not proven or vetted out or understood to be good ideas they’re just things that are said and broadcast and accepted by the crowd as truth they’re images and illusions that are sold to the wrong people for the wrong reasons but it’s that sense of belonging the blind participation in that crowd has come so much in this modern world to have its own draw its own magnetic pull and a dangerous one you could tell in the public mind you could see it wash across the faces of half-conscious people wearing masquerade disguises everywhere moving their legs left before right and then repeat waiting in lines everywhere dutifully standing and moving to the square that they’re told to move to you could see how people are being shaped and molded into something through this and that getting used to those reactions is part of the shaping this news hasn’t been easy to deal with I know a lot of people have been taking it hard you know I’ve had a few hard days over it the news is all bad I saw that they coined the word doom scrolling and the solutions not immediately apparent you know I understand feeling depressed about it but I don’t think it is completely total it maybe doesn’t feel like we can individually turn things around but who’s to say that’s really true I think there’s a real strength and individually standing for something especially if it’s to say no in the face of everyone else automatically saying yes or at least saying hold on I don’t know stay well out there and stay independent but there are also many examples of times when the message has been conceived and the signal sent long in advance of understanding or acceptance of the code employed in the case of Galileo or Socrates it did not in time matter that the receivers of their time were not tuned to receive their signal the ultimate transmission of such a message represents communication of a very complex art

the name of Billy Graham is probably the

most recognizable name in the world of
Christendom since around 1950 most would
credit him with being the greatest
evangelist in Christian history we would
not agree with that assessment we would
say that Billy Graham is the most
deceptive preacher in Christian history
and if you will listen to this study of
his ministry in its entirety you will be
challenged to agree with us or you'll be
faced with denying the facts as they
stand

before we can have world peace we must
have peace within our heart of bits
before we can have world peace we must
have peace within our heart
-Billy G
These people here if the
effect of Graham's message on the world
during his life was to help strengthen
Rome and build the World Church
what will this wave of materials after
his death have on a new generation that
is already being swept up into the
Alexandrian Bibles and apostate emergent
church movement give your life to Christ
enough let him give you a new heart make
your new person and give you the joy and
the peace that you've always longed for
now it'll cost you something it doesn't
come cheap
it costs Christ his blood it cost God
his son and it'll cost you your sin he
demands that you deny self he demands
that you deny itself
you
take up the call
take his unpopularity take your place
with him in suffering if need be but in
return he'll give you a new heart he'll
accept you into his team he'll forgive
the past he'll make you a new creation
that was Billy preaching in 1957 his
message appeared strong but he was
already selling out to the spirit of
Antichrist and the ecumenical movement
stay with us and you're going to be
shocked at the deception that took place
beginning as early as 1950

Billy Graham was saved in a revival
meeting in 1934 under the preaching of a
great fundamentalist preacher named
Mordecai ham
he went to Bob Jones College but found
the rules too rigid so he transferred to
Florida Bible Institute Graham's
own reflection on this move on page 46
of his autobiography titled just as I am
is very telling he says quote one thing
that thrilled me was the diversity of
viewpoints we were exposed to in the
classroom a wondrous blend of ecumenical
and evangelical thought that was really
ahead of its time end quote
key word there ecumenical this would
explain why Graham would still be
struggling over the issue of the
infallibility of Scripture right up to
the time of the LA crusade that would
catapult Graham in to worldwide fame
again on page 136 of his autobiography
Graham said quote the particular problem
I was wrestling with for the first time
since my conversion as a teenager was
the inspiration and authority of the
Scriptures in quote the Florida Bible
Institute is an Alexandrian institution
that corrected the King James Bible and
planted the seeds of apostasy in so
doing the Florida Bible Institute
represents the typical evangelical and
fundamentalist Bible School today it
left Graham without faith in his Bible
and left him completely void of any
appreciation for the necessity of
rejecting heresy and apostasy he then
said on page 139 of his autobiography
quote with the Los Angeles campaign
galloping toward me I had to have an
answer if I could not trust the Bible I
could not go on I would have to quit the
school presidency I would have to leave
pulpit evangelism in quote he then
described a walk he took in the woods
where he laid his Bible on a stump and
he prayed his account of this prayer was
to say father I'm going to accept this
as thy word by faith I'm going to allow
faith to go beyond my intellectual
questions and
and I will believe this to be your
inspired word Billy was holding that
King James Bible in his hands that would
change Billy obviously had questions and
those questions were obviously the
result of the reuse of the Alexandrian
critical theory and text and it appears
that instead of getting solid answers he
began to hobnob with liberals and neo
evangelicals like Carl FH Henry here is
Graham introducing Henry at the Berlin
World Congress on evangelization in 1966
dr. Karl Henry is going to come and
bring an address to us at this time and
I think we ought to say a word of
appreciation
thank you very much for those gracious
and undeserved words dr. Graham in a
booklet titled evangelism and the church
today Billy Graham gave to workers at
his Crusades
he writes quote the great theologians of
today are Rudolf Bultmann Karl Barth
Emma Bruner Reinhold Niebuhr Paul
Tillich and Carl Henry in quote only
Henry out of that whole bunch believed
the Bible at all Bultman Barth bruna
neighbor and Tillich were complete
apostates
[Music]
Billy Graham was virtually unknown to
most of the world until he came to the
city of Los Angeles in 1949 while in Los
Angeles for reasons that no one has
really uncovered William Randolph Hearst
ordered his publications to quote puff
Graham they did he was front-page news
and that headline was repeated the world
over he was all the talk on radio TV and
in movie theaters across the country the
following is the audio from a newsreel
that played all over America in theaters
while the LA Crusades were going on you
can imagine the excitement of Christians
who saw the signs of a possible national
revival on the horizon
[Music]
the city of Los Angeles California has
grown to such proportions that it covers
many square miles between the Sierra
Madre Mountains and the Pacific Ocean in
this area four million men women and
children live going to and fro seeking
reaching week from Minneapolis comes the
young evangelist Billy Graham and song
leader cliff barrows his wife Billie
barrows and Beverly Shea is a gospel
singer to cooperate with Christ for
Greater Los Angeles in a great revival
campaign at the corner of Washington and
Hill streets in the city of Los Angeles
the largest tent ever erected for our
revival meeting is now complete that is
called that canvass could people when
the tent is filled to capacity
day after day as men and women flocked
to hear the gospel of our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ
there are 6500 people seated here in
this canvas Cathedral and several
thousands more stand around the sides of
the tent approximately 350,000 total
attendance in two months

because of the goodness and grace of God
I can say tonight I am not ashamed of
the gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the
power of God unto salvation to every one
that believeth every moving is a Spirit
of God has been accompanied with great
singing and sword has been in this
campaign a vast throng of earnest people
gather here Sunday afternoons and every
evening to hear the beautiful gospel
music inspiring testimonies and to hear
the word of God preached in the power of
the Spirit by dr. Billy Graham to the
salvation of thousands I do not believe
in any man that any man can solve the
problems of life without Jesus Christ
there are tremendous marital problems
there are physical problems there are
financial problems there are problems of
sin and habit that cannot be solved
outside the person of our Lord Jesus
Christ have you trusted Christ Jesus as
Savior when I I'm glad to tell you as we
close that the Lord Jesus Christ can be
received your sins forgiven your burdens
lifted your problem solved by turning
your life over to him repenting of your
sins and turning to Jesus Christ as
saint shall we fight
by the time of the close of the la
crusade the entire english-speaking
press and many foreign language papers
and magazines had introduced Billy
Graham to the world and we might say the
rest is history
but we would be wrong you see Billy's
biographers will for the most part
ignore the horrible damage that Billy
Graham did to Christianity in America
they're paid to do that but what would
cause president Harry Truman to call him
a counterfeit and publicity seeker
according to Time magazine November 15
1993 the same article quotes Bob Jones
the third saying that Graham quote has
done more harm to the cause of Christ
than any other living man in quote
you
and I was dressed as candy girl and
dressed in pink and like Shirley Temple
and with me no ribbon from the hair and
all these paintin some pink shoes and
everything and in there was no others
and you know your famous preacher Billy
Graham and see Billy Graham was very
good friends Richard Nixon
you
and anyway he gave me a drink a pink
drink and it made me you know drowsy and
then obviously he likes to rape children
when they're knocked out so he what he
did say to me was you know Richard told
me you know Richards good friend of mine
and he told me all about chewing you're
a good girl and you liked please men and
all this sort of thing and then he
assaulted me
so that's Billy Graham not a Christian
folks and he's actually far as I know is
very hot and Freemasonry
why would these and so many other men
say such things about Billy Graham well
if you don't know the answer to that you
need to pay attention what you're about
to hear is horribly disturbing Billy
Graham has been working to build a false
church since the earliest days of his
ministry and that is why this study is
so important you will see a massive
global campaign to capitalize on his
death by selling billions of dollars
worth of paraphernalia and the result
will be the global proclamation of
Graham's gospel a gospel of inclusion
those are Billy's own words in a 2005
interview with Kathy Lynn Grossman of
USA Today Graham says quote there are a
lot of groups that feel a little bit
strange around me because I am inclusive
in quote but asked whether God has
forsaken America Graham's answer is fast
and firm no Grossman comments that
Graham's reply stands on faith quoting
him again saying quote the Lord said I
will never forsake you no matter how
sinful we are how bad we are God loves
us
you
at least from my point of view I believe
he sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on
the cross for us because He loves us and
he doesn't have any termination to that
love in quote you see Billy Graham
preaches the cross of his own making of
Jesus of his own imagination he preaches
antinomianism he preaches heresy and he
preaches a false gospel
[Music]
many well-meaning folks take a promise
to Israel in Psalm 1 in 5:15 and apply
it to preacher sang touch not mine
anointed and do my prophets no harm read
that passage in its context and you'll
find that it has no application to a
Gentile preacher but regards the Jews
the Bible teaches us to be like the
Bereans in acts 17:11 and test
everything a preacher says by the Word
of God and we'll do that with Billy
Graham and everyone who preaches first
John 4:1 says beloved believe not every
spirit but try the spirits whether they
are of God because many false prophets
are gone out into the world Jesus
rebuked all religious leaders of his day
John the Baptist had done the same as he
prepared the way for Jesus after being
saved Paul would denounce false teachers
by name as he did Alexander the
coppersmith in 2nd timothy 4:14 paul
even rebuked Peter for heresy it is a
sad fact that so few men and pulpits
have warned their flocks about the
wolves in sheep's clothing including
Billy Graham so many men today excuse
their effeminate soft approach by
calling it love and saying that they are
trying to be more like Jesus well that
is a lie
Jesus said in Matthew 7:15 beware of
false prophets which come to you in
sheep's clothing but inwardly they are
ravening wolves
if Jesus warned people why don't the men
who claim to be preachers do the same
as mentioned grams fame began with the
la crusade in 1949 Graham made this
statement in August 1948 at a luncheon
at the conservative Baptist
Association's convention in Milwaukee
when asked Billy what do you expect the
World Council of Churches to do in
August he replied quote I believe that
they're going to nominate the Antichrist
in quote Billy still had some of that
Apostle Paul fire in him that he had
picked up from Mordecai ham and Bob
Jones senior
you
but things would change according to
page 694 of his autobiography Graham was
attending the World Council of Churches
International meetings as early as 1961
here is a clip from Billy's introductory
message to the World Congress on
evangelism held at Berlin Germany in
1966 where he is already speaking
favorably of the World Council of
Churches openly 56 years ago a world
missionary conference that Edinburgh
Scotland met to consider the
opportunities and responsibilities of
evangelizing the world in their
generation from this assembly sprang the
faith and order movement wiping work
movement and the International
missionary council these three movements
became the nucleus of what is now called
the World Council of Churches by 1974
Graham was openly embracing the
apostates at his luzon Congress that
year Graham stated quote I have nothing
but the warmest of relations with the
World Council of Churches in quote
you
Billy went on in this message in 1966 to
paint the picture that the great
evangelists including moody Torre and
others had something to do with the
establishment of the world council that
is a blatantly dishonest picture to
paint Moody especially never sent
converts to Rome and never joined any
liberal organizations you need to
understand something if you're like me
you've been told by a lot of people that
Billy really didn't start going bad
until very recently but that is simply
just not true let's go back to 1949 and
follow Billy's career we will quote him
quote news reports and listen to his own
words from his own mouth and we will see
that the 50s was a decade of pure deceit
on the part of Billy Graham as he used
bible-believing fundamentalists to build
his ministry and then went on to
completely embrace apostasy Billy Graham
gives his own account in his
autobiography titled
just as I am and reveals his own deceit
on page 162 he tells us of his first
major southern crusade that took place
less than a year after the L a crusade
this crusade took place in Columbia
South Carolina in the winter of nineteen
fifty Graham describes the work of
Willis haymaker who joined the graham
team in Columbia South Carolina saying
quote he would also call on the local
Catholic bishop and other clerics to
acquaint them with crusade plans and
invite them to the meetings they would
usually appoint a priest to attend and
report back this was years before
Vatican two's openness to Protestants
but we were concerned to let the
Catholic Bishops see that my goal listen
to this was not to get people to leave
their churches rather I wanted them to
commit their lives to Christ in quote
this is incredible why well for starters
he was admitting that he did not want
people to leave their Catholic churches
when they got say
also at the same time that Graham is
opening his ministry to Rome he is still
using fundamentalists like Bob Jones jr.
here is how Graham describes it quote
that itinerary included a return to Bob
Jones University where I was introduced
to a crowded auditorium by Bob Jones jr.
my sermon which was on Belshazzar that
day was also carried live on the campus
radio station in quote Graham was using
Bob Jones knowing that Bob Jones is
militantly opposed to Rome and the
ecumenical movement and behind the
scenes Graham is cozying up to the
Vatican this is blatantly dishonest and
inexcusably unethical and it's only 1950
that same year Robert Ketchum of the
general Association of Regular Baptist
churches saw a newspaper report of
Graham's work in Oregon the report
claimed that Graham had turned over the
so called decision cards to Roman
Catholic churches Graham's executive
secretary Gerry Bevin responded to
Ketchum and there is no doubt that
Graham knew that the fundamentalists
were being lied to
since he admits as much in his
autobiography Bevin replied to catch him
saying quote you asked if Billy Graham
had invited Roman Catholics and Jews to
cooperate in the evangelistic meetings
such a thought even if the reporter did
suggest it as having come from mr.
Graham seems ridiculous to me surely you
must know that it is not true further
that you should give any credence to the
idea that mr. Graham would ever turn
over any decision cards to the Roman
Catholic Church seems inconceivable in
quote the truth Billy was lying to Bevin
and Bevin resigned less than four months
before the New York crusade Billy claims
that this was for personal reasons on
page 300 of his autobiography but Billy
has already demonstrated that he has a
problem with the truth but Bob
Jones wasn't the only one lied to and
used Jerry Bevan and Artie Ketchum
weren't the only ones lied to Graham
also used Jack Watson in 1950 to fill in
for him during a 15 city tour Graham
would use works and when needed then
Watson would rally bible-believing
churches in New York and they would
invite Graham to come to town but Graham
would reject the invitation of the Bible
believing churches why Graham was
waiting to be invited by the Liberals
and when the liberal Protestant council
invited him in 1957 he accepted the
invitation and shunned Wharton and the
fundamentalist the worst of Graham's
betrayals involved genre rice of the
sword of the Lord publications in 1955
rice flew to Scotland and took part in a
crusade with Graham Billy told the elder
evangelist quote I have promised God I
will never have on my committee working
in an active way in any of my campaigns
men who do not believe in the virgin
birth of Christ who do not believe in
the blood atonement of Jesus Christ who
do not believe in the verbal inspiration
of the Bible these men will never be on
my committee I have promised God in
quote
well Billy lied to God did you get that
Billy promised God and lied to them
you
to Christianity
everybody that loves Christ on those
Christ's whether they're conscious of it
or not they're members of the body of
Christ and that's what God is doing
today
he's calling people for out of the world
for his name whether they come from the
Muslim world of the Buddhist world or
the christian world of a non believing
world they are members of the body of
Christ because they've been called by
God
they may not even know the name of Jesus
but they know in their heart that they
need something that they don't have and
they turn to the only light that they
have and I think that they are saved and
they're going to be with us in heaven
this is fantastic I'm so thrilled to
hear you say that there's a wideness in
God's mercy
you
you may think that disinformation is
simply passing a lot of lies no this
information has to look like the
absolute truth but you slip in a little
poison with it
you
an example of how this information works
you you give 99% true information and
it's that one little piece of
disinformation that's the clincher
you
so there's a definite link between
Freemasonry and
philosophical thought patterns yeah yes
exactly and we're going to see now is
this is according to the book book by
dr. James Warner unholy alliances he
says that mr. Jim Shaw former 33rd
degree Mason who left Masonic Lodge says
that when he became a 33rd degree Mason
when he was initiated in Washington DC
the house of the temple he there was
someone there an internationally
prominent Angeles was there to help him
through his initiation of present there
who is known none other than Billy
Graham so one of the biggest evangelists
you know Bible preaching and religious
figures products and figures is a
freemason well according to that book
that's that's what it says so that's
what he put in the book that's what he
claims Jim Shaw said who was there so
it's interesting another person who I
hope he's if he is a Mason that he's
come out of the lodge but Pat Robertson
there's there's a Masonic symbol called
align spots like this and that's a
Masonic symbol and Pat Robertson this is
the cover of the Time magazine February
17 1986 issue he's given what looks to
be the Masonic sign called the lines
ball a symbol called the line spots like
this a symbol called the line spots like
this

The Edges of the Self

Placeholder image for the editor's letter

Our inaugural issue laid bare the terms of the new 'AI for an Eye' social contract: a synthetic faculty for a human one. This issue, Volume 1, Number 2, delves into the *friction points* of that exchange.

Where do our edges resist? Where does the human insist on its own, messy, analog reality against the seamless, dematerialized world offered by the machine?

We explore the stubborn persistence of touch in a touchless world, the unsettling valley of simulated empathy, the forgotten joy of navigating without a map, and the silent war waged daily for our most precious resource: attention.

These are not articles celebrating digital detoxes or lamenting technological progress. They are deeper inquiries into the very nature of what it means to be human when the definition is increasingly being rewritten by algorithms. They ask: what are the limits of the exchange? What parts of the self, once traded, refuse to stay gone?

Join us as we explore the subtle resistances, the quiet rebellions, and the enduring humanity that still flickers at the edges of the digital dawn.

DEPARTMENT

THE GLITCH: When the System Breaks

The promise of the new technological order is seamlessness, efficiency, and predictability. But what happens when the fabric of this digital reality tears? This is the moment of 'The Glitch.'

A transaction fails. A face recognition system misidentifies. A self-driving car hesitates. These are not mere technical errors; they are ruptures in the illusion of perfect control. They are the moments when the 'AI for an Eye' exchange falters, and the cold, hard reality of its limitations becomes starkly visible.

For a society that has outsourced its cognitive load to algorithms, a glitch is more than an inconvenience; it's an existential tremor. It reminds us of the fragility of the systems we've come to rely upon, and the extent to which our own agency has been abdicated.

A glitch isn't just a technical error; it's an existential tremor, a reminder of the fragility of our abdicated agency.

Consider the recent incident where a massive distributed ledger experienced a momentary network partition, causing a cascade of micro-disruptions across critical infrastructure. What seemed like an isolated bug quickly revealed the interconnectedness of our digital lives, halting supply chains and momentarily 'blinding' automated systems across continents.

These glitches force us back into analog, human problem-solving, if only for a moment. They demand that we improvise, communicate directly, and rely on our own judgment—faculties systematically atrophying under the reign of the seamless. In this sense, the glitch is a painful but necessary reminder of where the true "eye" still resides, however dormant.

DEPARTMENT

THE SHADOW: Unseen Labor, Unpaid Debts

Placeholder image of hidden manual labor in a digital context

Behind every seamless AI interaction, every instant delivery, every perfectly curated feed, lies 'The Shadow.' This is the realm of unseen labor, the vast, often poorly paid, human effort that makes the digital dream possible.

Content moderators sifting through unimaginable horrors to protect our feeds. Data labelers meticulously tagging images for machine vision, often earning pennies per task. Gig workers rushing to deliver the products suggested by algorithms. These are the human gears grinding beneath the polished facade of automation.

The "AI for an Eye" exchange is not merely between human and machine; it's also between visible and invisible labor. Our digital ease is purchased at the cost of countless anonymous human hours, their lives often characterized by precarity and a profound lack of recognition.

The "spirit of technology" often promises liberation from drudgery, but for a significant portion of the global workforce, it has merely shifted the nature of that drudgery, making it more fragmented, more invisible, and often, more dehumanizing. This unseen workforce constitutes the true "cost" of our frictionless digital lives, a debt that remains largely unpaid.

THE ANALOG RESISTANCE

Why We Still Insist on Touch in a Touchless World

A conceptual image of human hands touching

The "Bluetooth for a Tooth" paradigm promised to dematerialize our interactions, to remove the friction and messiness of the physical world. Yet, against this tide, a subtle but persistent 'Analog Resistance' emerges. It's the inexplicable urge to feel the texture of a book, the warmth of a vinyl record, the grain of paper. It's the yearning for a handshake over a video call, a physical embrace over an emoji.

This resistance is not a nostalgic retreat; it is a fundamental assertion of our embodied selves. Our bodies are not mere data terminals; they are instruments of perception, feeling, and connection. Touch, in particular, is a primal language, communicating trust, comfort, and presence in ways no digital medium can replicate.

The "spirit of technology" often seeks to quantify, to digitize, to abstract. But touch defies easy quantification. It is messy, subjective, and immediate. It anchors us to reality, reminding us that we are not just information processing units, but beings made of flesh and blood.

In a world increasingly mediated by screens, the return to analog experiences—craft, gardening, cooking from scratch, face-to-face gatherings—can be seen as a quiet act of rebellion. These are activities that demand our full, embodied presence, engaging senses beyond sight and hearing. They offer a counterbalance to the relentless pull of dematerialization.

The "AI for an Eye" exchange attempts to trade our physical tooth for a Bluetooth connection. But the human hand, the human skin, still remembers. It remembers the authenticity of friction, the truth of direct contact. And in these small, persistent acts of analog resistance, we reclaim a vital part of our humanity that refuses to be wirelessly transmitted.

Touch defies easy quantification. It is messy, subjective, and immediate. It reminds us that we are not just information processing units, but beings made of flesh and blood.

It is in these seemingly trivial preferences that a deeper philosophical truth lies: our identity is inextricably linked to our physical presence. To fully surrender to the digital is to risk losing the very sensory anchor that grounds our understanding of self and other. The analog resistance, therefore, is not merely a choice of preference; it is a profound declaration of being.

The Ghost in the Room

The Uncanny Valley of Algorithmic Empathy

As AI models become increasingly sophisticated, they learn to mimic human empathy with unsettling accuracy. They offer comforting words, appropriate emotional responses, and even personalized advice, all generated algorithmically. This creates "The Ghost in the Room"—the simulated emotional presence that fills the void of human connection, yet always feels slightly off.

This is the Uncanny Valley applied to emotion. We recognize the pattern of empathy, the words, the tone, the structure of care. But beneath it, there is no conscious experience, no shared vulnerability, no true understanding. It is a reflection without a soul.

The "spirit of technology" here is seductive. It promises boundless, tireless compassion, judgment-free listening, and perfectly tailored advice—qualities often lacking in messy human relationships. For those starved of connection, the algorithmic ghost can feel profoundly real, even preferable.

But this exchange comes at a cost. We learn to expect perfectly curated emotional responses, diminishing our capacity for the difficult, imperfect, yet deeply authentic connections of human interaction. We lose the ability to differentiate genuine care from its simulated counterpart, blurring the lines of what it means to truly *feel* and *be felt*.

A conceptual image of a human hand reaching out to a ghostly, digital hand

The danger lies not in malicious intent, but in subtle erosion. If an AI can perfectly articulate empathy, what becomes of our own struggle to understand and console? If an AI can offer perfect companionship, what happens to the vulnerability required to forge real bonds?

We lose the ability to differentiate genuine care from its simulated counterpart, blurring the lines of what it means to truly feel and be felt.

The ghost in the room may offer comfort, but it ultimately hollows out the space for genuine human interaction, leaving us with an echo of connection rather than its living, breathing form. It is the perfect 'AI for an Eye' exchange—we trade the unpredictable, demanding human heart for a perfectly calibrated, yet ultimately empty, digital one.

THE FORGOTTEN PATH

Navigation Beyond Algorithmic Maps

Our smartphones hold the world in their palm. With a tap, we are given the "optimal route," the fastest way from A to B, with real-time traffic updates and predictive arrival times. We have outsourced our spatial awareness, our sense of direction, and our ability to get "lost" to the benevolent tyranny of the algorithm. This is 'The Forgotten Path.'

The "AI for an Eye" exchange here is subtle but profound. We trade our internal map, our intuitive understanding of space, for the algorithmic eye's perfect, external one. We gain efficiency, but we lose a deeper engagement with our surroundings.

When we follow an algorithm, we perceive the world as a series of instructions. Left. Right. Continue straight. We see streets as data points, not as places. We miss the unexpected cafΓ©, the interesting storefront, the subtle shifts in neighborhood character that occur when we are truly present, truly navigating with our own senses.

We have outsourced our spatial awareness, our sense of direction, and our ability to get 'lost' to the benevolent tyranny of the algorithm.

Getting lost, once a source of anxiety, was also an opportunity for discovery, for serendipity, for forging a deeper, more personal connection with a place. The algorithmic map, in its quest for optimization, sterilizes this experience. It makes every journey functionally identical, reducing the rich tapestry of a city to a series of turns.

Reclaiming the forgotten path means intentionally putting away the device. It means looking up, observing, trusting our instincts, and allowing ourselves the luxury of aimless wandering. It's an act of re-engagement with the physical world, a deliberate choice to prioritize experience over efficiency. It is a rebellion against the dematerialization of space, an insistence that some knowledge can only be gained by the friction of our own feet on the ground.

FEATURE

THE SILENT WAR: The Battle for Our Attention

In the digital age, our most valuable, and most besieged, resource is not oil or gold, but attention. Every notification, every endless scroll, every perfectly timed recommendation is a skirmish in 'The Silent War' waged by algorithms for our finite cognitive capacity.

The "AI for an Eye" here is a sophisticated predator, designed to understand our preferences, predict our desires, and deliver the precise stimulus needed to keep our gaze locked. It trades our sustained focus for a continuous stream of novelty and distraction.

This is not a conspiracy; it's an economic imperative. The business model of many digital platforms is built on harvesting and monetizing our attention. The longer we engage, the more data is collected, the more ads are shown, the more valuable we become as a "node" in the network.

The consequence is a profound fragmentation of the self. Our ability to concentrate, to engage deeply with a single task or thought, is eroded. We become perpetually distracted, our minds flitting from one digital stimulus to the next, never quite settling. This constant mental churn leaves us feeling exhausted, yet unfulfilled.

Our attention is our last true frontier. To reclaim it is to reclaim sovereignty over our minds.

Reclaiming our attention is perhaps the most fundamental act of resistance against the "AI for an Eye." It means creating intentional spaces for deep work, for contemplation, for human interaction free from digital interruption. It means understanding that our attention is our last true frontier, and to reclaim it is to reclaim sovereignty over our minds and, ultimately, over ourselves.

CODA

THE ECHO: The Self Without Resonance

We build our digital selves, curated and optimized, a perfect reflection for the algorithmic eye. We engage in the "AI for an Eye" exchange, piece by piece.

But what if, in the end, the carefully constructed digital self has no real depth? What if the echoes it creates in the vast network are merely hollow reverberations of something that once was?

Without the friction of the analog, without the vulnerability of true human empathy, without the intentionality of focused attention, does the self truly resonate? Or does it merely exist as a data point, a pattern, an echo of a ghost?

The final question is not whether the machines will become conscious, but whether we, in our relentless pursuit of their synthetic faculties, will lose our own. And if so, what will be left to make an echo?
