Hey, it's me. Um, I might have click baited you with the title. Sorry about that. Um, but it just got me um well, something that happened as I left the house this morning got me thinking about a few things and it was it's a perfect message for the holiday season or as we used to call it, Christmas. Um, so sorry.
I'm just I'm just getting into work, which means I'm out of breath because I walked down the hall. Not up five flights of stairs. I walked down the hall, so I'm out of breath. It's going to happen to you two youngsters. Anyway, so I'm walking out of the house this morning and I live in a pretty nice neighborhood. Not a wealthy neighborhood.
I mean, I still got the barking dogs and my driveway is not wide enough to fit a Ford F-150, one of the most common vehicles in the country, but my driveway is the perfect size. So, when I pull the truck in, I just you just hear the scraping of bushes just side of the car. Maybe one day I'll upgrade to a driveway that'll fit.
But for now, I'm I'm really complaining because compared to how I used to live, you know, not just as a kid, but just pretty recently. I'm walking out of the house in my pretty nice neighborhood. And it's garbage pickup day. >> So, I I I zip the truck down there, and I pull up next to the garbage man, and I hop out of the car.
And I don't know if we've never seen each other before cuz I'm pretty new in that neighborhood. And I he's a black guy about mid50s, had gray dreads, which is pretty badass looking. Um, so I'm walking over to him and I see he's looking at me and I can I can't really tell exactly what he's thinking, but it's not he's not thinking this is good.
in his mind is either what did I do wrong that I'm gonna get yelled at or what did I do just fine that I'm gonna get yelled at. I can see it's in his mind like oh what does this guy want? I'm busy. What I wanted I wanted to give him an envelope and he couldn't believe it. So now I had two envelopes on me. So, I took care of him.
Said, "Merry Christmas." And uh and then I walk around to the to like the side of the truck to look cuz I'm going to give the driver his envelope. And I look in there and there's no driver cuz it's one of those trucks where in New York we didn't have that. New York a garbage truck. It had like a whole team on it and like five guys in there.
I think you had a driver, one guy handling the cans, and two guys just hang on the end. It's a union job. But out west in LA and here too in Vegas, it's just a truck with a robot arm. So anyway, I I look into to tip the driver and he's like, "No, man. It's just me. It's just me and just me and and the and the machine.
" So I gave him the second emblem and he was like, "No." I said, "Well, I it's for the driver. You're the driver." And so he couldn't believe it. He's very very very happy. Um, he was a little choked up even, which was kind of which was kind of sad. And that's what got me thinking about why I wanted to talk cuz that means he doesn't get a lot of envelopes.
>> He earns $15 an hour for 12 hours a night, six nights a week. >> Goes to a lot of hard work and dedication to do a job like this. It's not easy. >> Now, I tip everybody. And I know there's going to be some of you that say, "Well, it's easy for you to tip everybody with a big YouTube channel." No, no, no.
Always, always tip everybody. Now, I don't know if it's a New York Italian thing. Everybody gets a little something. >> What's up? >> He give the doorman a hundred just for opening the door. >> Thank you. or if it's because uh everybody in my family is a cop. Cops work for tips, if you know what I mean. >> I had to call the cops just to keep him from killing the poor guy.
I gave them each a,000 bucks and told them what Nicholas had done. >> Then they kicked his ass. >> Um but I tip everybody always have. Jen and I were just talking just a maybe a day or two ago about our financial situation when we first got together almost 20 years ago. which I can't. Um, and we were broke.
Well, because we were actors in LA, which meant we were always out of work or on unemployment, which I think I was when we first met, or working some stupid job that paid nothing. During that time, we would put in $5 of gas in the car. That was what we not fill her up. I couldn't even imagine who goes and says, "Fill her up.
How do you know how much to put in? Fill her up. It could be 50 G. I don't know how big your tank is. We're going to go f $5, which in LA is not a lot of gas. >> Prices in LA County are holding near $4.50 a gallon. That of course is well above the $3.14 a gallon national average. >> It was kind of why why actors really wouldn't date on different parts of the city.
Now, we'll tell you because oh, it's so far and sprawling. It's really because gas is so expensive and we're broke. So, I can't afford to I I if I'm living in the valley, I can't go date you in Santa Monica because I might not have enough gas to get home >> in uh the heart of LA. And it's $7.89a gallon. >> But Jen and I both lived in the same neighborhood.
And on that date, and really every date since, I picked up the check. I tipped the bartender. Well, and not just to show off cuz I think she might have already been passed out. Sorry, honey. >> Okay, only about five more steps. No unlocking the door. >> When I go to a restaurant, tip the bartender, tip the waitress, server, I tip the hostess when she sits us, I tip the valet on the way in and out.
And I'm not talking tons of money, just it's really more of a it's symbolic. That's not really quite the right word, but it's a gesture of appreciation and for what you do, but for me, it's also a gesture of understanding. Here's what I want you to do. Think about what you make a year and take 1% of it. And during this week, don't you don't have to do it now.
I don't know what your situation is, but during this the final week of the year next year, take 1% of your money and just give it around to the people that took care of you all year. I mean, the guy who picks up your trash. >> We help each other. >> Garbage man stick together. >> We help each other, man. >> Mows your lawn.
If you see the same guy at the car wash when you go there, the same guy at the gas station, servers, hostesses, val, everybody who takes care of you, UPS drivers, >> thank you to get to know everybody here. I'm watching your kids grow. I'm watching them start to drive. I'm getting old. >> I'm blessed to know each and every one of you. Blessed.
Blessed. And just thank you so much. >> Thank you. >> I was just totally blown away. I was just it was just amazing. It was just amazing. I couldn't believe that they actually took the the time to put something like that together for me, you know, and uh I'm just I just felt just loved and cared for. >> The Instacart delivery people take very good care of them.
It goes a lot cuz I'm talking 1%. So if you make $100,000 a year, break off a,000 bucks. Now I know if you make 40,000, breaking off 400 bucks is a lot of money. I get it. But if you but if you are getting by starting next year, every time you get your paycheck, take 1% of it, whether it's gross or net, what however you want to do it, take 1% of it.
set it aside and don't touch it because that's important. Money, never touch that 1% to take care of the people that take care of you. It goes a very, very long way. I'm getting kind of emotional because I've been there, you know. I I've been a bartender for a long time. >> You get uh five mojitos. >> I'm out of mint.
The GrubHub delivery people who bring food, which I get GrubHub way too much, they get huge tips and tips so big they can't believe it. Now, I'm not talking thousands of dollars. Like, I'm a celebrity tipper. I mean, 20 bucks. >> I'm here. It's my job. >> That's all right, man. There you go. >> You're kidding. >> That's for you. >> You're joking, right? >> No, man.
>> You're lying. >> No, it's for you. It was a really good biscuit. >> Dude, I cannot take that for a tip. Can I have a tip for you? Oh, thank you. >> There you go. >> Oh my god. >> You're kidding. No, it's for you. >> I can't see that. >> Yeah, you have to be kidding me. >> I just wanted to make someone's day today.
Man, >> you have made my entire year. >> Are you serious? >> Yes. >> No. >> Yeah. >> Why me? What? >> Because you're wonderful. >> You're in. >> You have to take it. >> Real work a lot. And suddenly I was here. I don't mind it. >> Well, you deserve it. >> God bless you. >> I appreciate it. >> Of course. >> What's your name? >> Happy holidays, Dawson.
>> Oh my gosh. Oh, can I give you a hug? Yes. Thank you. Oh, you have no idea. >> We just wanted to make someone's day today. So, you're just such a great server. >> Thank you. >> You're welcome. >> Oh my god. >> Give me a hug. Thank you. >> Of course. Hope you have a great day. >> Thank you. >> They can't believe it because my mind goes, here's a, you know, this is a woman in her 60s delivering me Del Taco in the middle of the night.
What's her situation like that she has to do this? >> It's hard to watch. A frail and elderly delivery man struggles to drop off the packages. Each step is an ordeal. >> I It makes me feel good to help. I felt really bad. >> The homeowner was so moved she set out to locate the delivery man whose name is Larry. Turns out he's a Navy veteran.
>> Larry had recently suffered a stroke and had to relearn how to walk. He had taken the temporary delivery job at Door Dash because he needed to make money to fix his leaking roof. >> Now Jennifer has come to the rescue, organizing a community drive to raise money for the man. He got enough to fix his roof and retire.
>> That's awesome. >> So, I want you to break off 1%. If you can't, you can't. And if you can't, because you're one of those people taking care of others, you're cleaning houses. You're driving Uber. >> There was days where I would only have maybe like five or six rides for the day.
>> Lift driver Chris Labrada has had to move in with his family as he rides out the financial storm. >> We need to take care of each other. Because life is it's not it's not a ladder where you start making not a lot of money and work your way up. It kind of goes up and it's a roller coaster because I've been I've been broke and I've done well and broke and done a few times. A few times.
So you don't know what part of the roller coaster you're going to be in. >> As of right now and you and your family are homeless. >> Yes. >> Really tough. >> Yeah. What's something I could do to put a smile on your guys' faces today? >> A roof for the kids. Something for the kids to sleep in. >> So, I'm going to pay for your guys the hotel. I'll pay for five nights.
>> Thank you. >> Think that would be amazing. That would like get us to his first paycheck. >> Pizza time. Got pizza. Oh, >> we honestly didn't even know we were going to sleep tonight. We can't thank you enough. So, I don't know if in a year or two I could be delivering sandwiches. I don't know that.
It's very possible because it has happened to me before in my 30s, in my 40s, up and down. So, you don't know. So, take care of the people and they'll take care of you. That's socialism. That's how it's supposed to be and that's how it was. We took care of each other. Now, it's the government tries to take care of everybody and it doesn't work.
And we all know that the government is just people that care about themselves. So those people get as little as my money as possible, which is why they audit me. But they get as I work very hard to give them as little as possible. And it's not because I'm hoarding. It's because that money goes to all these other people who make my life easier.
So remember that. Have a merry Christmas. I'll be streaming. If you're alone, you want company, you want a few laughs, I'll be streaming all day. And come hang out and we'll see you then.

Welcome to "The Chronically Online Algorithm"
1. Introduction: Your Guide to a Digital Wonderland
Welcome to "π¨π»πThe Chronically Online Algorithmπ½". From its header—a chaotic tapestry of emoticons and symbols—to its relentless posting schedule, the blog is a direct reflection of a mind processing a constant, high-volume stream of digital information. At first glance, it might seem like an indecipherable storm of links, videos, and cultural artifacts. Think of it as a living archive or a public digital scrapbook, charting a journey through a universe of interconnected ideas that span from ancient mysticism to cutting-edge technology and political commentary.
The purpose of this primer is to act as your guide. We will map out the main recurring themes that form the intellectual backbone of the blog, helping you navigate its vast and eclectic collection of content and find the topics that spark your own curiosity.
2. The Core Themes: A Map of the Territory
While the blog's content is incredibly diverse, it consistently revolves around a few central pillars of interest. These pillars are drawn from the author's "INTERESTORNADO," a list that reveals a deep fascination with hidden systems, alternative knowledge, and the future of humanity.
This guide will introduce you to the three major themes that anchor the blog's explorations:
* Esotericism & Spirituality
* Conspiracy & Alternative Theories
* Technology & Futurism
Let's begin our journey by exploring the first and most prominent theme: the search for hidden spiritual knowledge.
3. Theme 1: Esotericism & The Search for Hidden Knowledge
A significant portion of the blog is dedicated to Esotericism, which refers to spiritual traditions that explore hidden knowledge and the deeper, unseen meanings of existence. It is a path of self-discovery that encourages questioning and direct personal experience.
The blog itself offers a concise definition in its "map of the esoteric" section:
Esotericism, often shrouded in mystery and intrigue, encompasses a wide array of spiritual and philosophical traditions that seek to delve into the hidden knowledge and deeper meanings of existence. It's a journey of self-discovery, spiritual growth, and the exploration of the interconnectedness of all things.
The blog explores this theme through a variety of specific traditions. Among the many mentioned in the author's interests, a few key examples stand out:
* Gnosticism
* Hermeticism
* Tarot
Gnosticism, in particular, is a recurring topic. It represents an ancient spiritual movement focused on achieving salvation through direct, personal knowledge (gnosis) of the divine. A tangible example of the content you can expect is the post linking to the YouTube video, "Gnostic Immortality: You’ll NEVER Experience Death & Why They Buried It (full guide)". This focus on questioning established spiritual history provides a natural bridge to the blog's tendency to question the official narratives of our modern world.
4. Theme 2: Conspiracy & Alternative Theories - Questioning the Narrative
Flowing from its interest in hidden spiritual knowledge, the blog also encourages a deep skepticism of official stories in the material world. This is captured by the "Conspiracy Theory/Truth Movement" interest, which drives an exploration of alternative viewpoints on politics, hidden history, and unconventional science.
The content in this area is broad, serving as a repository for information that challenges mainstream perspectives. The following table highlights the breadth of this theme with specific examples found on the blog:
Topic Area Example Blog Post/Interest
Political & Economic Power "Who Owns America? Bernie Sanders Says the Quiet Part Out Loud"
Geopolitical Analysis ""Something UGLY Is About To Hit America..." | Whitney Webb"
Unconventional World Models "Flat Earth" from the interest list
This commitment to unearthing alternative information is further reflected in the site's organization, with content frequently categorized under labels like TRUTH and nwo. Just as the blog questions the past and present, it also speculates intensely about the future, particularly the role technology will play in shaping it.
5. Theme 3: Technology & Futurism - The Dawn of a New Era
The blog is deeply fascinated with the future, especially the transformative power of technology and artificial intelligence, as outlined in the "Technology & Futurism" interest category. It tracks the development of concepts that are poised to reshape human existence.
Here are three of the most significant futuristic concepts explored:
* Artificial Intelligence: The development of smart machines that can think and learn, a topic explored through interests like "AI Art".
* The Singularity: A hypothetical future point where technological growth becomes uncontrollable and irreversible, resulting in unforeseeable changes to human civilization.
* Simulation Theory: The philosophical idea that our perceived reality might be an artificial simulation, much like a highly advanced computer program.
Even within this high-tech focus, the blog maintains a sense of humor. In one chat snippet, an LLM (Large Language Model) is asked about the weather, to which it humorously replies, "I do not have access to the governments weapons, including weather modification." This blend of serious inquiry and playful commentary is central to how the blog connects its wide-ranging interests.
6. Putting It All Together: The "Chronically Online" Worldview
So, what is the connecting thread between ancient Gnosticism, modern geopolitical analysis, and future AI? The blog is built on a foundational curiosity about hidden systems. It investigates the unseen forces that shape our world, whether they are:
* Spiritual and metaphysical (Esotericism)
* Societal and political (Conspiracies)
* Technological and computational (AI & Futurism)
This is a space where a deep-dive analysis by geopolitical journalist Whitney Webb can appear on the same day as a video titled "15 Minutes of Celebrities Meeting Old Friends From Their Past." The underlying philosophy is that both are data points in the vast, interconnected information stream. It is a truly "chronically online" worldview, where everything is a potential clue to understanding the larger systems at play.
7. How to Start Your Exploration
For a new reader, the sheer volume of content can be overwhelming. Be prepared for the scale: the blog archives show thousands of posts per year (with over 2,600 in the first ten months of 2025 alone), making the navigation tools essential. Here are a few recommended starting points to begin your own journey of discovery:
1. Browse the Labels: The sidebar features a "Labels" section, the perfect way to find posts on specific topics. Look for tags like TRUTH and matrix for thematic content, but also explore more personal and humorous labels like fuckinghilarious!!!, labelwhore, or holyshitspirit to get a feel for the blog's unfiltered personality.
2. Check the Popular Posts: This section gives you a snapshot of what content is currently resonating most with other readers. It’s an excellent way to discover some of the blog's most compelling or timely finds.
3. Explore the Pages: The list of "Pages" at the top of the blog contains more permanent, curated collections of information. Look for descriptive pages like "libraries system esoterica" for curated resources, or more mysterious pages like OPERATIONNOITAREPO and COCTEAUTWINS=NAME that reflect the blog's scrapbook-like nature.
Now it's your turn. Dive in, follow the threads that intrigue you, and embrace the journey of discovery that "The Chronically Online Algorithm" has to offer.
