Welcome back everyone. Today I want to talk about something quite a few of you had questions about pertaining to the fallen angels, more specifically the watchers. I think some of you were curious about how human women could give birth to giants. How would they be able to survive such a pregnancy to term and give birth? And some of them likely did not survive, but not because their children were born giants in the same way that human children are not born as toddlers or full grown adults, right? And I'll get into that shortly.
So, I want to talk a little bit about that with more of the focus being on how the watchers were able to impregnate those women in the first place. And these are good questions that I think should be explored and understood. Now, in the beginning, the Watchers, they were not flesh nor of blood. They were the sons of heaven and they were radiant, eternal and they were incorporal which means they were not composed of matter.
And the ancient text tells us they crossed the line between heaven and earth. Genesis 6 speaks of them simply as the sons of God. But the book of Enoch reveals a bit more that they were celestial watchers driven by desire who learn the secret of incarnation. And it reads, "You were spiritual, holy, living an eternal life, but you became polluted with the blood of women.
" So somehow folks, the incorporal became physical, the spiritual became biological. They changed the order of their nature. There is another ancient text known as the testament of Reuben that says, "The watchers changed the order of their nature and the women likewise changed the order of theirs." which was a forbidden exchange, a merging of realms.
Also, if you look later in Genesis 18, it shows that angels could eat, speak, and walk among men in solid tangible form when they visited Abraham and Sarah and then Lot and his family. Even the philosopher Pho wrote that these beings could assume bodies suited to their mission. Now, if they could walk with Abraham and eat food, I think it's reasonable to surmise that they could also lie with the daughters of men.
But the question is how? What ancient power allowed them to take on flesh to mix their divine essence with human blood and create the nephilim? Well, they were taught [Music] [Music] In the ancient Enochian and intertestamental writings, that 400year gap between the Old and New Testaments, there is this idea that there is not one Satan, but there are several.
The word Satan itself simply means adversary or accuser or or false accuser. I think the Greek version is to tear apart or divide. But we know that this is an opposing or rebellious spirit. Now there were said to be five chief Satans or leaders of rebellion. each one in command over a class of spirits that opposed the divine order.
Celestial rebels, right? And each one embodies a specific kind of corruption or interference with humanity in Jubilees, one of these leaders is Mastima, whose name means hostility or hatred. Mastima is something like a prosecuting spirit. They are not completely outside divine control but they are permitted to test and tempt humanity.
Then there is Aazil who taught humans the art of war and ornamentation. Godriel who is blamed in some texts for deceiving Eve and introducing death into the world. Penmu who taught writing and the bitterness and sweetness of wisdom. The word pen is in the name. And Cazia who revealed the mysteries of spirits and demons that afflict mankind.
Together they form a kind of a council of rebellion. Five Satans each corrupting a different aspect of creation. Technically the five Satans are Yaquan, Asbiel, Godreal, Penmu, and Casia. Now Jquan or Jquan their role is interesting because he is called this is the one who led astray all the children of the holy angels and he brought them down onto the dry ground and led them astray through the daughters of men and that is what distinguishes him from some of the others.
Because unlike Aazil who taught forbidden technologies, Yaquan's corruption was spiritual. He would be the first to inspire the Watchers to transgress their celestial boundaries. Not so much by teaching them how to shapeshift, but being an enabler. His name is thought to derive from a root meaning to entice or to cause disscent.
So the idea is he led the watchers into lowering or bending the higher into the lower. In other words, Yaqua may not have been the one who taught the Watchers how to forge weapons or paint their eyes, but rather the one who showed them how to embody, how to descend from the pure spirit into matter. The watchers as heavenly beings were described in Enochian literature as radiant and incorporal beings of fire and light.
For them to physically interact with human women, some form of transformation had to occur. The texts don't explain it directly, but we can imagine that this process required knowledge of materialization. And for that to occur, there would probably need to be a condensation of spiritual essence into physical form.
It would be the same as lowering one's vibrational state, tuning consciousness to the frequency of the material world. So, Yaquan could have been the one who revealed the forbidden mechanism of incarnation or how celestial beings could take on flesh, altering themselves to walk among humans. Other watchers closer to his rank would have followed his lead with each one using that knowledge for their own ends.
like Godil used it to seduce and deceive others like Aazil to teach arts of power and vanity. Together they would commit what the text calls the great sin or crossing the boundary between heaven and earth. When the book of Enoch says you were spiritual living an eternal life, but you became polluted with the blood of women.
Yeah, that would be a literal change in essence where spirit becomes flesh, immortality becomes mortal and light is mingled with dust. Right? So when later Gnostic and Manakian traditions talk about the five satans, they are not always describing a group of fallen angels. They are describing an ancient cosmological event which would be the moment when divine beings misused their creative powers.
Yuan is the one who opened the gate between realms and through his influence the spiritual laws that once kept heaven and earth apart were broken. Then came the birth of the Nephilim, the giants who were the physical embodiment of that forbidden union, half spirit and half flesh. You see? So when you carefully read first Enoch, especially the book of the watchers, you find the sequence of events describing how the boundary between spirit and flesh was violated.
Not just through a sexual union alone, but through a process involving taught magic, ritual, and then descent. and all the others together with them took unto themselves wives. And they began to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants, and they became pregnant after all that, and they bear great giants.
So first the watchers chose wives for themselves. Each chose one for himself. Then they transmitted forbidden knowledge. They taught them charms and enchantments, the cutting of roots, acquainted them with plants. Then finally came the outcome, hybrid conception as a result of the magic they used.
And then they became pregnant and they bear great giants. Cause and effect. The teaching of magical botanical and ritual arts seems to be the means that enabled this conception. The act of union between angels and humans was not presented as ordinary physical intercourse but as a ritualized crossing of realms. Does that make sense? You see, the first stage is desire and decision.
The watchers gazed upon human women and were drawn not only by desire but by the thrill of rebellion. It wasn't just about appearing in the flesh temporarily. They had to enter it to inhabit matter. In order to do that, they had to transform their essence. a change in ontological status, or should I say the metaphysics of the nature of being, transitioning from beings of spirit to entities capable of mingling with human bodies.
And that was the decision sealed by an oath on Mount Herman, making the rebellion deliberate and binding. The second stage involves the transmission of boundary arts. So they taught enchantments, the cutting of roots, and the use of plants. And with that type of sorcery, they could gain control over life force and the interface between spirit and nature.
That way, the women would then have access to powers beyond the natural order. And that energy could interact with spiritual essence, transforming the womb into a place where two dimensions could overlap and give rise to hybrid life. The third stage is the alteration of their being. Once the boundary arts were known, the spiritual beings could descend or condense into forms capable of physical union.
We know that with the statement they became pregnant and they bear great giants shows that the union was biological. These beings were clothed in flesh or their vibration was lowered to match the material frequency of the human world. The spirit aligns with matter. Then there is a fusion and then comes the hybrid after effect.
The offspring were giants, beings of dual essence. Their physical form carried divine potency, but their nature was corrupted by the violation of cosmic law. Later texts such as the book of giants described them as of mixed nature. They were neither fully spirit or fully human. But see, they all ignored the final process of it, which was a guaranteed judgment and punishment.
They knew ahead of time that there was no way around that, but they did what they did anyway. What they did was a cosmic crime. Now, the Nephilim, right? Just because they were giants doesn't mean they were born giants or were born giant babies because they were still half human. But they inherited a vitality and life force far beyond ordinary humans allowing them to grow rapidly develop immense strength and reach giant proportions.
What happens to the body when you don't cut off the growth hormone? For us, that gets cut short between the ages of 28 and 33 years old. After that, you start to age. But some interpretations suggest that the giants's biology was altered by the presence of celestial energy, giving them an accelerated metabolism, enhanced bone structure, the ability to draw power from the natural or cosmic environment.
So they would have nourishment from physical food and from spiritual or energetic forces. Symbolically, the Nephilim's giant size is a literal and metaphorical result of the union of heaven and earth, the embodiment of the chaos and power. Just like when humans hit a certain age and then they hit a growth spurt and hormones start to kick in, it would probably be the same for the children of the Watchers.
So, they wouldn't be born as giants. Instead, they would have entered the world at a relatively normal human size only to grow to enormous size later. So, the idea of some of these women dying, giving birth, probably wasn't because the baby was too big, but probably because the celestial force within the child may have created intense strain on the mother's body.
Some women may have survived due to their strength, luck, even though I don't believe in luck, or maybe even divine intervention. While others could have succumbed to the physical and metaphysical pressures of carrying a being that was both mortal and angel. In any case, each birth crossed a dangerous threshold between life and death.
