All right, folks. That concludes our rock and roll marathon for the evening. And just a reminder, you're tuned in to 94.7 FM. We are now transitioning over into after hours. If you're a new listener, uh this is basically what this part of the show is. Uh me and Jamie stay way too late. Um >> [music] >> we're not getting paid extra than we already are. Um but you know, we [music] get a lot of interesting calls from people that are up at this hour. You know, truck drivers, people home alone, and uh sometimes police officers, um night shift employees, [music] you know. So, feel free to give us a call and, you know, we can talk about whatever. Um just as long as it's not uh anything political or religious. I'd like to keep [music] my job. So. Okay. Well, [music] while we're waiting for callers, um Jamie, do you want to, >> [music] >> you know, come in here and tell a story? >> [snorts] >> She's shaking her head no, and [music] okay. Yeah, that's fine. No, it's fine with me. I didn't even want to hear. No, it's okay. No, your life's probably [music] boring as hell. Okay. Well, now that my lovely [music] assistant is flipping me the bird through a glass window, um I will tell a story >> [music] >> about this morning. It's very interesting. Uh kill the music just a little bit. Thank you. So, this morning I was driving to work. As you know, the population of this city is not very high. So, the traffic on the back roads, at least the one I take to work, very desolate, very peaceful. I can gather my thoughts before coming to the station. You know, it's uh 5:00 in the morning, I'd say. Very dark outside, very cold. And to my surprise, I saw another vehicle. Oh, no, someone to disrupt my chi before my day begins. But, I didn't think much of it. I just kept driving. For some reason, I felt a little strange about vehicle. I'm not really sure why. So, I pulled over to the side. Uh there's this little uh dip in the in the road that kind of cuts into the forest a little bit. I I pulled over and I parked, and I wanted them to pass me. I opened up my phone, I checked my emails, pretty much pretending like I had something I needed to do. >> [snorts] >> Now, I assumed they would just drive right past, you know, "Thank god that guy moved. I can go a little faster now." >> [snorts] >> But, no, they pulled up right next to my car. Not super close, but you know, close enough to where I could kind of see who was inside the truck. Now, mind you, it is very dark outside. It is 5:00 in the morning. The sun had not come up yet. Freezing cold. My headlights were on. So, some of the light was uh bouncing up a little bit and kind of landing in that individual's window. Now, at first, I thought, "Oh, this is strange. Maybe this is someone I know, uh family member, friend, ex-partner. Hopefully not, but, you know, it could be." I'm not sure who this person was. And not to sound like I'm wearing a tin foil hat or anything, but I don't know if it was a person and I hope it wasn't cuz man, if it was disgusting. I mean, this lady was creepy looking. I mean not to be rude. I hope I hope you weren't driving down that road and listening to this right now cuz I'm sorry, but that lighting was not doing you any justice. Um this person was absolutely still. They their face was um I'm not sure. I'm not sure it they didn't move really. It seemed like they or it it felt like a mannequin was placed in the driver's seat almost. That's kind of what it my brain registered that figure as like a mannequin or something the longer I looked at it. It was very very odd. Um but they looked at me. Didn't move. Um I couldn't really see their eyes or anything. Um You know that thing when it's a little dark and your vision's kind of staticy, grainy. I could pick up some details through that, but not very good ones. Anyway, I quickly just looked back down at my phone. Uh It was creepy. It was creepy. I didn't like looking at her. Uh And out of my peripheral after they sat there for about 2 minutes, they they kept driving. And uh yeah, I don't know. I don't believe in ghosts or anything, but uh Yeah. Sorry. Yeah, Jamie's motioning at me to not have dead air. I I apologize. It's just uh Man, what a creepy creepy drive to work this morning. Anyway, uh looks like we have our first caller, so. Hello, welcome to 94.7. Do you have anything uh interesting going on this morning? Uh Jamie, can you fix that? Hello? Hello, uh Jamie, Jamie, can you uh okay. Wow. Okay, I'm not really sure if that was a technical problem on our end. Can't say that that helps the nerves after that story I just told. Uh we're going to try to call them back. I'm so sorry about that. Okay. Hi, this is 94.7. I'm so sorry we missed your call. Um if you can call us back at this number, uh we'd love to chat, so. Just let us know. St- Oh, stop the broadcast, I see. I'm sorry, you got to Well, I'm pretty sure the people at home would disagree. I like it when we use our frequency to broadcast um music that people like. YOU CAN'T STOP THE BROADCAST. >> OKAY, I won't stop the broadcast, but I am going to stop that call. Wow. Um very creepy and convincing. Uh Now, if this was um a Halloween episode, uh calls like that would be you know, I I would encourage it, but right now, you know, everyone's a little you know, it's 3:00 in the morning. Come on. I'm not trying to give these people a heart attack, but very nice. Uh it was was really good. Um Okay, we have another caller, it seems. Um Should I take this one? I don't know. Let's find out. Okay.
