thought that offering human sacrifices was a good way to make someone live longer following this lineof thought it's possible that they chose antinis because they thought he would be easy to kill and killed him on purpose to make hadrien live longer finally we can't say for sure that there wasn't a murder but no one knows why someone would kill him though some people didn't like the fact that hadrien liked him a lot it's not right to kill someone who was so close to the emperor putting aside the question of how he died one thing is for sure hadrien was heartbroken when he died he did reallygreat things after antonus died to begin he built a whole city to honor the man who was his lover the city was named antinoopolis by him after that he built temples all over the country so that
